New Revelations

“You’re still getting those blackouts?” Karri Hatchet asked with a sympathetic tone as she watched Mason unloading some packs off his horse Manny.

Mason continued his unloading without pause as he answered, “Not since the incident a few days ago.”

Invicta Bike Rally Thurs 9pm EST, New Flagstaff

Invicta Bike Rally is a weekly roleplaying event hosted by Invicta at Beauville's Tavern, New Flagstaff Thursday nights at 9pm Eastern. All are invited to come and enjoy, though as this is run by a CHOTA-focused gang, obvious Enforcers might feel a bit unwelcome from time to time.

Please note that the players (other than Archer) mentioned in the tags don't actually appear in this post. Later in the post Archer is talking to someone about his experience in the Province and who he has met as well as his opinion of them.))

The echoes of long lost memory had finally coalesced into a vivid tapestry in her mind, fragmented no longer. Dru sat astride her motorcycle at the top of the ridge, gazing back toward the people of the hidden valley as they waved to her.

Dru discarded her stick and nodded as she rose from where she'd been kneeling in the dirt, brushing herself off a bit as she did so. Old John nodded as well, finally looking away from their various plans etched out on the ground, "Well, you heard the girl, we'd all better get some rest. It'll be an early mornin' if we're going to hit them with the sunrise at our backs."

Mason Greene was alone in the desert a few miles from the outskirts of Old Kingman.  For most of the day he had been scrounging and scavenging for materials to trade with the local vendors of the town.  As the sun was slowly setting, he decided to make camp instead of making his trek back.  Although spending the night in Kingman would offer a better sleep and more security there were times when Mason enjoyed the simple tranquility and solitude of the wilderness.

Legends of the Fall

Legends of the Fall is a multi-faction social clan.  We enjoy RP, Crafting, PvE and hosting community events together.  Our lore is based around clans having a greater importance in our lives than factions.  After all, we are clones that just popped into this world, we weren't born to factions so we have no loyalty to anything but ourselves.

It is early afternoon, an unusually cool day that breezes through the house to send anything not weighed down rustling about. She is standing before a counter in what must have once been a kitchen, her lithe fingertips working at packing a shell casing to add to the hundreds already gathered in rows before her. Things are peaceful now and the delicate monotony of her task is half-meditative.

Before the Fall

The view from the corner apartment was breathtaking. It was one of the things its occupant enjoyed, the view across the campus and downtown Boulder at night, the lights of civilization disappearing into the granite majesty of the Flatirons. The other thing he liked, of course, was the location; just across the street from the east campus of the University of Colorado and an easy 5 minute bicycle commute to the main campus on 28th Street. Boulder was a beautiful place on the evening of July 23rd, 2051.

She stands amongst the billowing wreckage, the very vision of coldly manicured beauty. She is clad in a black catsuit of some high tech weave she cannot name, its snug fit almost inappropriate in how it hugs her svelte form. Her long, vibrant red hair has been loosed to the wind and whips about her pristine features and away behind her in a scene straight out of an exaggerated hair products commercial.

Druuna sleeps restlessly, shifting uncomfortably in her tangle of sheets. The wind is picking up outside as a storm is brewing and the old house creaks its weary disdain of such trouble it is no longer well suited to weather. She is oblivious to the noise, lost in the throes of her own troubles, dreams such as they are.

She is watching him from the expansive bay window of a lakehouse they've rented when the phone rings. He is down on the pier, wrestling with a canoe that seems to be winning the contest. She is wearing a silly smile full of affection and amusement as she brings the portable to her ear.

Delayed entry: Back at it.

I'm not quite sure what happened, and by now I'm not sure I care.  One minute I realize I made a mistake and am in trouble, the next I'm standing in a damned LifeNet center, and people are telling me I was gone for a month and a half. I'm very seriously done with this. There's all this ridiculous tech lying around, working half-assed, and a bunch of idiot Techs who think they understand it- and think this is the way of the future. If it is, count me out. There are plenty of places I can go and live out whatever is left to me without having to deal with the garbage we now call humanity.

Druuna is leaning back against her motorcycle beside the glowing campfire, snuggling into her pack for a bit of cushion. The usual desert chill has set in as heavy clouds have rolled in to blot out most of the stars. She huddles within her jacket with her feet close to the warming fire, her hands now fishing about in her pockets.
