'Why does she decide to paint when it is so cold?' Sharky complained sitting in a room in the house of Hyle.

'Keep still!' Hyle called out with a paintbrush in her hand. 'Or you will be a blur in the painting.'

'Keep still when shivering?' Sharky grumbled. He moved his gaze to Veronica sitting beside him. 'Why are you not cold?'

'It is not so cold,' Veronica replied. 'Imagine being warm, sunshine, sauna, campfire, hot soup-'

'Okay, okay' Sharky said. He closed his eyes a moment before opening them again. 'No, still cold,' he said.

'No imagination,' Hyle chuckled.

'I will imagine throwing you in a cold pond,' Sharky grumbled.

'Why are you so grumpy?' Veronica asked. 'I think it is exciting! Hyle and her new painting talent!'

'But why cannot she begin with fruit or something?' Sharky asked with the exasperation.

'Fruit? You mean for breakfast?' Veronica said puzzled.

'No!' Sharky responded. 'Paint fruit, still life.'

'This is life,' Veronica said. 'and we sit still while Hyle paints.'

Sharky sighed. 'We are nudes,' he said.

'Yes, it is so clever!' Veronica said excited. 'I cannot wait to see what clothes Hyle paints for us when she shows the paintings to the town.'

Sharky raised one eyebrow and looked at Veronica. 'There will be no clothes.'

Veronica quickly turned to Sharky. 'What?'

'Keep still! Both of you!' Hyle called out from behind her easel.

Suddenly there was the sound of a loud knocking. 'Come in,' Hyle suddenly shouted out. 'We are in here.'

Both Sharky and Veronica looked at Hyle with startled expressions but before any could ask a question, Isaac from the Waffelhaus walked into the room mumbling something about something still hot.

'Excellent Isaac!' Hyle exclaimed putting down her paintbrush. 'I asked Isaac to bring some food from the Waffelhaus.'

'But...' Sharky began.

Isaac turned to Sharky and his eyes widen with surprise. 'Oh... umm... errr.... are you.... ummm...' He turned his gaze and then saw Veronica also unclothed, 'Oh... ummm.... oh my... ummmm...' then he ran out of the room.

'Thank you Isaac!' Hyle called out. 'Waffel anyone?'

Sharky and Veronica said nothing, frozen in shock. 'That is it!' Hyle exclaimed delighted. She quickly picked up her paintbrush. 'Stay like that a moment.'

You wouldn't have this problem if you could control thermal energy, you know.

((((  Hyle feels the suffering of the artist, all the scarifices she has to endure in order to fill the world with beauty.

I would rather die peacefully in my sleep, like Grandad, than screaming, like his passengers

((Wait, you're comparing Sharky's dangly bits to the Mona Lisa? Hmmm, well it might improve sausage sales in the wafflehouse I suppose... does the wafflehouse still do chipolatas?
