Sunday Morning

Sunday mornings can be wonderful. Especially in Springtime. The bright sun rises into a crystal blue sky, birds sing, and there is a perfectly peaceful silence that exists before the bustle of the town ensues. In short, all the promise of a perfect day.

Hyle opened her eyes to her sun-filled bedroom. The fresh spring morning filled her senses...

For a few seconds…

“Ååååååhhh.... Nejjjj...”

A few seconds of bliss do exist before the effect of overindulgent Saturday nights sweep them away. The physiological effects of excessive wine, whisky, cigarettes and dancing set in and Hyle realised today would be what Tuki would call a ‘dark-glasses day’.

On hearing the groan, a head of black hair awakened and stirred into life. Reavy opened her tired eyes and stirred as Hyle sat up and moved to the edge of the bed.

“Good party?” Reavy placed a supportive hand on Hyle’s shoulder and tried to see past the broken haystack of blonde hair into roadmap eyes set in smeared make-up….

“Ååååååhhh…...”

(( yes there actually is a Reavy under the armours...

((Hmmm... ever thought about turning these into a graphic novel?

(( maybe just make little stories to add to the scenes I make... I see the picture and write a little.

As for the 'novels', maybe its better to let the reader picture the scene for themselves,  and think of the time it takes to make just one scene  :P

The pictures capture the moments so beautifully! I love also the description of 'roadmap eyes'.
